Dr. Otaniyenuwa Asemota is a seasoned family physician based in Savanna-la-Mar, Westmoreland, Jamaica. With over two decades of clinical experience, he serves as the Medical Director of Moriah Medical Centre. Additionally, Dr. Asemota contributes to medical education as an adjunct lecturer in the Department of Community Health and Psychiatry at the University of the West Indies (UWI), Mona Campus.

 

His research interests encompass HIV care within family medicine settings and geriatric health. Notably, he conducted a study on the prevalence of urinary incontinence among older adults in Westmoreland Parish, highlighting the need for systematic screening in primary care.

 

Beyond his medical practice, Dr. Asemota is an evangelical Christian and author. He penned the book Children of Heaven: The Night Is Far Gone, which delves into biblical end-time prophecies and their interpretations.
