Epican Jamaica, officially known as Epican Medicinal Limited, is a pioneering medical cannabis company based in Kingston, Jamaica. Established in 2015 by brothers Dwayne and Karibe McKenzie, Epican became the first company in Jamaica to receive a cultivation license from the Cannabis Licensing Authority in October 2017. Subsequent licenses for processing and retailing were granted in November 2017, making Epican the first fully vertically integrated cannabis company in the country.

 

The company's mission is to "Educate, Medicate, Elevate," focusing on providing high-quality, organically grown cannabis products cultivated in the Blue Mountains. Epican's offerings include a variety of strains, oils, tinctures, and other cannabis-infused products. The Kingston location features a smoke room and an I-tal café, promoting a holistic wellness experience.

 

Epican also operates a second location at The Shops at Bay Harbour in Montego Bay, expanding its reach to serve a broader customer base.
