Established in 1942, Jamaica Standard Products Co. Ltd. (JSP) is one of Jamaica's oldest and most respected coffee companies. Located in the cool hills of Williamsfield, Manchester, JSP began as a trader of local produce and transitioned into coffee production in the early 1950s. The company is renowned for creating the Jamaica High Mountain Coffee brand in 1952, which has gained international acclaim.

 

Today, JSP is the largest single grower and processor of coffee in Jamaica, exporting to markets in Europe, the United States, Japan, and China. The company produces several coffee brands, including Island Blue® Jamaica Blue Mountain Coffee, Island Brew® Jamaica Blue Mountain Coffee Premium Blend, Baronhall Estate® Jamaican Gourmet Coffee, and its flagship Jamaica High Mountain Coffee. In addition to coffee, JSP offers a range of products such as coffee liqueurs, sauces, and spices under the Baronhall Farms brand.

 

JSP operates five specialty coffee shops across Jamaica under the names Coffee 'n' Spice and Island Brew Café. The company also offers tours of its coffee estate, providing visitors with an immersive experience into the coffee production process.
