The Social & Economic Alliance for Development (SEAD) is a Kingston-based non-governmental organization dedicated to fostering public participation and dialogue on Jamaica's social and economic challenges. Established in February 2009, SEAD brings together professionals committed to informing, influencing, and supporting initiatives that drive national development.

SEAD operates through a three-pronged approach:
  •  Inform: Conducting forums, workshops, and seminars to educate the public on pertinent social and economic issues.
  • Influence: Engaging in policy advocacy and lobbying efforts to shape governmental and societal decisions.
  • Support: Backing programs and charities that contribute to Jamaica's socio-economic infrastructure.

Since its inception, SEAD has organized and participated in multiple forums addressing topics ranging from budget debates to leadership and social entrepreneurship. The organization has collaborated with various groups, including the Toybox Charity Foundation and Brothers United, to promote social development.

SEAD's "Invest in Solutions Project" (ISP) invites individuals to contribute resources—financial or human—towards initiatives aimed at effecting positive change in their communities. Through its website and active Facebook presence, SEAD continues to engage with the public, encouraging participation in discussions and solution formulation.
