ICD is a well-established investment holding company that participates in a diverse group of companies within the Caribbean, North America, South America, Africa and India.

We stand by our values: INTEGRITY (Being our word), PASSION (Loving who we are and what we do), EXCELLENCE (Exceptional by habit), and INNOVATION (Creating without boundaries).

The MultiCare Foundation (MCF) was established in April 1993 under the theme “Creating Hope, Empowering Many” with endowments by ICD Group Limited, LIME [then Cable & Wireless Jamaica Limited] and the Caribbean Cement Company Limited.

The Foundation was established with six schools and a commitment to youth and community development, particularly among students and young people from innercity areas of Kingston.

Today its core programmes in Sports, the Visual Arts and the Performing Arts are delivered in 31 schools from as far as Bull Bay in St. Andrew through Eastern, Western and Central Kingston to the Greater Portmore area in St. Catherine.

In 2014, Multicare Foundation merged with YUTE (Youth Upliftment Through Employment), a development programme targeting young people in inner-city communities and providing them with employment opportunities. The merger allowed for collaborative efforts to bolster the effectiveness, efficiency, and viability of both organizations.

With a common charge to promote youth development through the delivery of youth-focused programmes and services, as well as a common parent company, the ICD Group, the two charitable organizations benefited from combined governance, leadership and management as well as combined programmatic partnerships and administrative resource sharing.
