Welcome to the University of Technology, Jamaica (UTech). Our University is internationally renowned as the “Home of World Class Athletes” and continues to build a fine tradition of academic excellence.
 
Over 11,000 students are reading for UTech courses of study in the disciplines of law, sports sciences, nursing, dentistry, business and management, hospitality and tourism, architecture, construction management, engineering, computing, pharmacy, health sciences and teacher education led by a distinguished faculty and dedicated administrative staff.
 
As the demand for training evolves, the University seeks to continuously expand and upgrade our academic offerings and services to meet relevant workforce and development needs.

The University of Technology, Jamaica (UTech), formerly the College of Arts, Science and Technology is located within the Greater Kingston Metropolitan Region in the parish of St. Andrew and occupies approximately 18.2 hectares. It lies to the east of the Hope Botanical Gardens within the Papine-Liguanea commercial centres. The campus is served by several bus routes and is within walking distance of the Mona Campus of the regional University of the West Indies and the University Hospital.
