Fi Wi Sinting is Jamaica’s premier one-day cultural festival, held annually in February at Somerset Falls, Portland. Since its inception in 1991, the festival has celebrated African heritage through vibrant performances of drumming, dance, poetry, and comedy.
 
Attendees can explore a bustling craft market, enjoy healthy culinary demonstrations, and savor traditional Jamaican cuisine. Set against the lush backdrop of Somerset Falls, the event offers a family-friendly atmosphere that honors ancestral traditions and promotes cultural education.
 
Founded by Sister P, Fi Wi Sinting continues to be a cornerstone in preserving and showcasing African retentions in Jamaican culture.
