Garlic To Aid With The Flu

Garlic is one of nature’s most potent remedies and is also one of the easiest to find. It has been extensively researched in over 5,000 studies for its natural ability to help the body recover.
This herb has been used for a multiplicity of medicinal purposes over the centuries, including treatment of flu, fever, coughs, asthma, bronchitis, sinus congestion, stress and fatigue, fighting headaches, stomach ache, gout and rheumatism.

Garlic has been used as an aphrodisiac, antioxidant and antibiotic. It is good for reducing cholesterol levels and high blood pressure, as well as aiding with coronary heart disease, heart attack and hardening of the arteries (atherosclerosis).

Garlic is also used to treat and/or prevent various types of cancers, such as bladder cancer, colon cancer, rectal cancer, stomach cancer, breast cancer, prostate cancer and lung cancer. It is also used for building the immune system, preventing insect bites, and preventing and treating bacterial and fungal infections.

Raw garlic is available in many stores and relatively inexpensive. To take it, mince it and drink with a small amount of water. It can be mixed with honey or syrup or added to food to tone down the taste.
