Floyd’s Pelican Bar is a unique, driftwood-built bar positioned on a sandbar about a kilometre-and-a-half offshore at Parottee Point. Founded in 2001 by local fisherman Floyd Forbes, it offers visitors crystal-clear shallow waters, a laid-back atmosphere, and fresh seafood prepared on-site including grilled fish and lobster (seasonally), along with refreshing drinks. Access is only by boat, making the experience special and secluded. The bar is popular for swimming, snorkeling, sunbathing, and simply relaxing without rush.
