Jamaica Energy Partners is the largest IPP and produces almost 20% of the electrical energy on the Island's Power Grid. Through its ownership of the Doctor Bird Power Plant, this Plant encompasses the company's production facilities and is located at Old Harbour Bay, in the parish of St. Catherine. Jamaica Energy Partners provides services such as Education and Health, Work Programs for youth and unskilled individuals, Sports and Environmental Initiatives.

 

JEP’s latest project is the "WEST KINGSTON POWER PARTNERS (WKPP) 65MW POWER PLANT", which consists of the construction and commissioning of a land-based, 65MW Heavy Fuel Oil (HFO) Power Plant in the West Kingston area.
