The Meteorological Service of Jamaica (MSJ) is a division under the Ministry of Economic Growth and Job Creation. It is tasked with monitoring and forecasting weather and climate conditions across Jamaica. The MSJ comprises three main branches: Weather Branch, Climate Branch, and Administration and Support Services Branch.

The Weather Branch focuses on observing and forecasting weather conditions, including the issuance of severe weather warnings and hurricane watches. The Climate Branch is responsible for climate data collection, analysis, and dissemination. The Administration and Support Services Branch handles personnel, office management, accounting services, and other administrative functions.
