Norman Manley International Airport (NMIA), located on the Palisadoes peninsula in Kingston, is Jamaica's second-largest international airport and the primary gateway for travelers to and from the capital city.
Named after Jamaican statesman Norman Manley, the airport serves as a hub for Caribbean Airlines and handles over 130 international flights weekly. In 2018, the Government of Jamaica entered into a 25-year concession agreement with Grupo Aeroportuario del Pacífico (GAP) to operate and develop NMIA, aiming to enhance operational efficiency and modernize the facility.
